Wow, what a shoot I’ve just come off. A massive 7 day shoot styling beautiful turkish linen for a new company called Collective Sol.
It is lovely working with beautiful product on a big shoot involving a number of lifestyle set ups and not to mention a seemingly never ending amount of steaming, ironing folding and prop moving…thank god for my lovely assistant Ines who has now become the folding queen of the world!!!
It’s really rewarding seeing some beautiful imagery come to life all made possible with the talented work of Adrian Lander, photographer extraordinaire. Three days shooting in studio and one beautiful day shooting seaside with the perfect weather to back us up. Gotta love it when the heavens are on your side. Lets face it when dealing with the elements and towels on a beach, well it could have been a disaster!!
With a shoot like this there is so much to orgsanise and understand about how to style products for a campaign shoot.
If you want to learn more about styling products I am running a two day short course in styling on two consecutive Saturday’s from the 16th January. The course runs form a beautiful building in Prahran Melbourne.
Go to melbourneschoolofstyling.com.au for more information. It is an intimate workshop and places are selling fast and I would love to see you there,
